Thanks everyone for your info. As of right now I don't think i'm going to have it done. My deductible is $1000, and I would just have to pay for the sonogram. Then when i have the baby next spring, I'll have to meet me deductible again. I'm going to try and see if there is something I can do at the beginning of the year. I'll be over 2o weeks at that point. tchamness--she wrote and it sounded like she was from Indy. I might try and contact the place she went, seems hard to believe it would be so cheap but I'm going to check it out. Maybe it'll be the same for me. Thanks again. I'll keep you updated!!

congratulations
I had the nuchal fold test done, but here in the UK we had to pay privately for it and it is not covered by any insurance
It has to be done at 11-14weeks
I don't know whether they do the same tests over in the US but in the UK they check the fluid, the nasal bone and also do a blood test. I was told it was 90%accurate in the UK and it is a non-invasive test. Not sure of the statistics where you are
I had it done for Rebecca because I wanted to be prepared, I certainly would do anything else and it did give me peace of mind
