These days baby poo has become one of my most talked about subjects ,Ha Ha. Jayden was born with an imperferate anus (this means that there was no opening) and had to have surgery the day after he was born ( surgery went extremely well) to correct it. He had a very difficult time pooping at times so the docs put him on miralax. It became his wonder drug and no more straining or crying to poo. WHAT I WANT TO SAY is that I have found something more natural to feed him that works as well if not better for him. I met an ER nurse that used a holistic approach in her own life. Of course I strike up a conversation about POO! Her advice was to try equal parts of (All-Bran cereal, applesauce and prune juice) warm the mixture and let it sit to soften the cereal. My sweet little guy eats this every day (about a tablespoon full of each mixed together) and he is pooping up a storm, I'm talking 3-4 times a day. Some days it is soft enough to squeeze out the side of his diaper and we need a total clothes change. I welcome and embrace that rather than him crying miserably trying to poo, and I feel much better using something that is natural and good for him. The best part of it is that he loves this stuff. HAPPY POOPING ALL!!!
