Chris is speaking more and more, words he never said before are just coming out so clear ;D He is still very behind BUT hey he is surprising me everyday ;D
Our district is in the middle of a financial melt down and actually going to let go of 39 assistants from full time to part time so they can take them all off health benefits and replace them all with part timers. Its will always make me mad that the ones that need the most help are the ones to be cut first Fortunately this does not affect my guy as he goes out of district. They tried to cut his busing for ESY but I nipped that in the bud 1 2 3...
The pace maker seems to be working like a charm ;D OMG you should see the scar, nasty looking but scars don't bother my boy, actually he seems to be proud of it, go figure.
Kodi Lee has about 2 weeks left of school then will be home ;D She is just doing TERRIFIC in college and Colin and I are just so proud of her I love her tons, you have that have been at UNO and know me know that, BUT after about 3 weeks I will be like Hmmm isn't it time for you to go back to school ROFLOL
Its amazing just 2 years ago I was crying OMG my baby is off to school what will I do .... Then you get use to it, KWIM?
Goldie has been gone a little over a week now and OMG its not getting easier Today the vet sent me a card that was just so precious. It was set up for scrap booking which was GREAT since we are scrap bookers here. It has Goldie's paw print along with this little envelope thing that has some of Goldie's fur in it. OMG ;D We have gotten so many cards from friends, it amazes me that so many understand this was a real loss to us. We also got back Goldie's ashes in a beautiful wood box that Kodi and I will bury in our back yard under the new tree we just planted. Chris who truly loved this dog has gone the opposite of the rest of us and WILL not and does NOT want to talk about it
He keeps telling and signing to Colin to go walk the dog, just breaks my heart
Haven't heard about the sleep away camp yet for Chris, I am still so not sure if I want them to take him this year or not, since last year was such a bust So this year I said to God you take this over PLEASE if he is meant to go he will if not he won't. Amazing how letting go and letting God makes things much easier
K, I think I have rambled enough for now
Hope you ALL have a GREAT rest of the week.
