I'm sorry to say that I gave up my dreams of a clean home about two days after Joy came home from the hospital. Nowadays I feel I'm doing good if I can manage to load the dishwasher before the cat has jumped up on the counter and licked all the dishes. But I might start putting them back in the cupboard if he gets them clean enough! LOL
I could use some advice, though. Like how do you keep from dying of laughter when your husband has to wear your underwear to work because you're so far behind on laundry that he doesn't have any of his own clean? Luckily I wear the Hanes type that look kind of like men's underwear, but it's just not the same (according to him). This has only happened once, but it officially got me into the Mommy's Hall of Shame! ;D

ROFL Kristi.... and hmmmm to the recipes, I am gussing I missed every single one and just where was I for that??? However I have the greatest laundy stain remover remedy and it is so easy!!! It is gentl enough to use on baby clothes or DH work clothes and does not irritate the skin. SIMPLE GREEN, it can be bought at the car parts store, at walmart, at sams sometimes at meijers. It does not say it is for clothes and I do not dilute it, I spray it on full strenght, I never had a stain on baby clothe either and I have been using it for about 22 years, I GUARANTEE it as a mater of fact ;D if it dont work, you get your money back ;)LOLOL hugs, Robin PS now does anyon3 have anything Kristi can use in place of a bulldozer??? ;D

Jennifer... OMG... TOO Funny.... I am just picturing your dh in your underwear......not a pretty picture... LOL
I have an odd cleaning tip for you mothers and fathers who have children who like to draw on their limbs.... Robin this is your girl...
Yesterday Miss Emily came out of her room with permanent magic marker drawings on both of her legs and all her toe nails. First let me share her response to me when I asked her why she wrote on herself?
She said: "Momma... if I didn't see the marker on the table... I wouldn't have done it!" ARGHHH!!! Argue that one with a three year old... LOL
Anyway... I diluted some oxyiclean and poured it on a washcloth.... and Voila.... no marker... and no skin irritation... I tested a small spot first... but it worked great!!
Hugs to all you!!
Cathy

This was meant for me! I think I have OCD when it comes to cleaning!!!!! I got a lot of my tips from FLYLADY.COM. If you subscribe, you get tones of emails. Drove me crazy as my email box has to be clean too. But, GREAT hints!!!! Always make your bed first thing in the AM. But, I always have a sleeping daughter in my bed ) Spend 5 minutes cleaning each room. When I am done gettng ready in the am, I use those bathroom wipes and wipe down the sink , toliet and floors. Bathroom is always clean. Bedroom, pick up clothes, make the bed, I will take a dirty sock or tee and wipe down dresser, bed tables, etc, So on and so on-house is alwyas clean. Before going bed, always clean your kitchen sink. I don't know why, but this totally works. My kithcen is always clean becasue of this tip. Also, try doing one load of laundry a day instead of saving it up for one day. Much easier. Oxiclean is great for stains. So is natural sunlight!!!!

Heather, Would you like to spend a week with us? I'd love for my house to be clean all the time, but it gets sooo crapped I don't know where to start. My tip is oxyclean. We use it on EVERYTHING!!! Also to clean the bathroom. Tilex (real tilex not an off brand). You can spray it on and just rinse it off. No scrubbing. Stove- good old comet (77 cents a can). Can't think of anything else but if I do I'll let you know. Kate
