BIG BIG THANKS From Christopher to you ALL for the well wishes, emails and ecards ;D OMG I cannot believe it was 12 years ago I was in the hospital crying and thinking OMG now what??? Here it is 12 years later and BOTH Colin and I are saying WOW what a LONG strange trip its been BUT we wouldn't have taken any other trip and I can honestly say that without one doubt in my mind ;D Chris is such a "CHARACTER" OMG every time someone says HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Chris he says, clear as heck may I add , "NO Thank You, Kodi's turn" LOLOL I told him, Chris only older ladies skip B-Day's and he still insisted NOOO Birthday We celebrated last night as Kodi has an event at school tonight. So we took Chris to TGIF's and at the end of the meal bout 10 or so waitress and waiters come over and sing Happy Birthday to Chris OMG it was priceless ;D He sees them coming over to our table and he knows they do that there and he covers his face and just laughs from his toes the whole time they are singing to him ;D When they were done, he uncovers his face and says to them all, "THANK YOU" We come home and do presents and just too cute. Each and every present he opened he looked to us all and said, again clear as a bell , "Nice THANKS GUYS" the kid has the greatest manors I have to say, even if I am his MOM, LOL Then it was cake and we light the candles and start to sing Happy B Day and he says, clear again (can you tell I am happy with the clear speech) "Oh No Not Again" and then laughs from his toes ;D He had a party at school today and was "Man of the Day" at school and the note said he was just sooo happy and loved giving out the snacks he brought in and when they sang Happy B Day to him, Teach said he turned red and smiled like only Chris can do ;D One of his favorite presents was "Mario Power Tennis" game for his Game Cube which he is playing right now and just having the best time with it . Another of his favorite presents was a "Free Pass" from doing homework tonight. I cried today NOT because of Sadness BUT because I love this boy sooo much and am soo happy God lent him to Colin and I. To Chris, on your 12th, we wish you the BEST of the BESTEST and good HEALTH Always... THANKS to you all for letting me share him with you over the last 5 years CC ~

Oh Gosh CC, what a wonderful post of Chris' bday. You got me sitting in a pool of tears! That was priceless reading this post and am truly touched by how you share so much or Chris and yourself with us. Thank you for letting me see how neat it gets as our children get older. Sorry I get all mushy. At our buddy walk this year (it was my first), they had an older group of kids up on stage at one point, dancing to some "rockin" music. I was standing in line for the bathroom and was just smiling away at these wonderful, young adults and who they were. I was standing there not being able to hold back the tears, hoping Russell will get there someday. I also probably looked so wierd to others, crying while waiting for the bathroom. Somebody probably thought I had to go BAD LOL. You have a wonderful boy CC! And his mommy is pretty awesome too! Hugs and love, A.
