If your kid is alergic to band aid's, what do you use for owies then?

I've got excema so have to use this white tape that is hypo-allergenic, it's called microporous tape here but it might have a different name with you.
I find it better than band aids anyway as you an wrap it round and it doesn't fall off. you just put a piece of lint on the wound 1st.

I'm assuming that lint is like a cotton ball or something right Lorraine? Not the fluffy stuff that comes out of the dryer I'll look and see if I can find some tape to use. Give it a try. With Brooker being so very dare devilish lately, I need something for the boo-boo's she get's. Thx

Have you tried paper tape? It can be a bit tougher to get off but with a piece of gauze (or lint! ) it's a close 2nd for a band aid. We use paper tape at the hospital I work at all the time on the little ones - ya never know when that latex allergy will rear it's ugly head.

Paper tape sounds like the same stuff, it's white and it tears really easily? and gauze too, don't you just love the english language ;D Good luck

I do love it Lorraine. My office helper and I were talking just this morning about the different words. Like a boot is the trunk or the hood on a car? She couldn't remember which. I just love it
