250,000 times today!! The boy has @#$%^ed and screamed at me for 2 days. STOP, STOP JOHN, STOP!!! 2 days!! He has to be mad at me for something. Maybe he is mad because we are here. All I know is I am tired, the boy has shown no mercy. I had no idea he could hold a grudge, but I believe that is exactly what he is doing. Any suggestions? Stacy

If he's mad at you, try saying "I'm sorry." Does wonders for my 5th child to just hear "I'm sorry" even if I'm just sorry about the situation, sorry that he's having such a hard time, or whatever. He just needs to hear the words and his whole perspective changes.
Another idea - spring-boarding off of Jennifer here - familiar video or song or story. Something to help him see that home is wherever Mommy is. I recite the same story every day at nap-time. And I do mean "recite" - I say it out word-for-word. It is Beatrix Potter's The Tale of Benjamin Bunny & I use voices and a Julie Andrews accent. The key is that it is exactly the same when we are away as when we are home. It is familiar and homey, and therefore reassuring when we are in unfamiliar situations.

Today is a little better. Still giving it to me a little. He is so tired and will not go to sleep. This one is always like clockwork. 7:30 he is down and 6:30 to 7:00 he's up. Well he finally gave it up at 9:00. Just finally put him in the crib and let him fuss!!
Been doing the familiar stuff, signing time is for him. He is just to much like his daddy! He will start settling down soon I hope.
