;D Hi folks!!!! Just wanted to step up and sat hello. I am steff mom to Olivia who's 11 almost 12 and is in the 7th grade. The past 2 years she has been going to a sp ed jr. high/high school and is loving it. I love it too with a couple issues that have been addresses with the most unbelieveably loving school.Anyhoo just wanted to ask if anyone has experience with the PAES LAB. They are incorporating into Olivias 7th grade class. She does hoiwever this year go to 3 seperate classes rather than the one class so she will get more one on one and we can challenge her more. So this problem has hopefully been resolved. BUT wanted to ask about PAES LAB anyone else have experience with it? Here's an excerpt from a website about it just wondered if anyones child has used it. Thanks Steff www.talentassessment.com/testimonials_paes.php

Silly me.........I thought the PAES Lab was something that our county came up with! Emily has gone to it for several years now! She has always really enjoyed it.
We also have what is called a "post graduate program" for kids who graduate from high school, but who haven't turned 21 yet. It is on the campus of our local university, and every person I've talked to about it just goes on and on about it. We put it into Emily's IEP that she would begin going to that program one day a week for 2 hrs a day, to get accustomed to it. Last Wednesday was her first day, and she loved it. They cook, clean, share job responsibilities, go to job sites, etc. I hope Liv loves the PAES Lab. (At first, I thought it was the PACE Lab, and thought it was cool since that was our last name!)

A.....LOL!!! At least you knew it was a class....I thought she was talking about a DOG and I was sitting here trying to figure out what the acronym PAES stood for "pet assistance extra special" could not figure it out.
Thanks for the help....guess it would have helped if I would have read Steff's post before trying to figure it out!!!
