Well it seems like forever sence I gave an update on Brooker and the going's on in her world. We finnnnnnally closed on her house. Finally! Had to wait for the meeting with the mayor and have it put in the deed that I would not charge the city or the school district if a baseball broke my window. Seriously, give me a break. Almost a stinking year later for that? She is loving school and doing a super job. She's almost all the way potty trained now. The only thing she can't do is get up and down off the potty. Everything else she has mastered. So proud of her ;D Her speach is exploding. Any word I ask her to say she does or makes a pretty darn good attempt at it. I'm so excited for that but all she does is yack yack yack now LOLOLLL. I love it!!!!! She is also putting 2,3,4 words together and it makes sence too LOL She is still not talking to the teachers alot but they are seeing improvement. There is one teacher who is there on Thurs who she seems to talk to the most. Kinda erk's the other teachers who have known her all her life but.... LOLOLLLL! I can hardly believe she will soon be 4 yrs old She goes in for her yearly heart doc checkup on Wednesday. Finally found her a dentist too. Her old dentist retired. Good looking toothfers ;D Dad goes in for a bone marrow biopsy week after next. Pray for that will ya if you have a spare prayer. Something is going on w/ his cells and they just can't figure it out. Remember when Mary had the surgery on her jaw for that tramatic bone cist? Well %^$!@&!!! Took her to her new dentist last week and he did x-rays and guess what? The surgery didn't work. It's still there and getting bigger. She will go back to the oral surgeon here at the end of the month. What I can't believe is Mary will be 16 OMG in a couple weeks. My camera broke. Sad girl. No pics today. All in all Brook and family are doing well. I'm sad that FB has takin' away alot of the postings here. I really miss hearing of the going's on of all the kiddo's. Hint Hint!!!!

I'm so sorry about Mary's experience, and I have your husband in my prayers. Brook is just the cutest little one. I just want to hug and kiss her! Thank you for the update. Keep us posted on both your husband and Mary.

Yay for no heart appointments again! I'm praying for your hubby - prayed just the other day, worrying about him. Gotta say I'm jealous about the potty training. Stevie can do it all, and sometimes goes all by herself, but cannot seem to understand the consistency thing. She just doesn't get that the potty is an every day sort of event. She'll get there, but it seems she takes 6 months on lessons my other kids got through in a day or two. I'm getting impatient. I'm pretty sure I could get her to understand the thing if I could let her run around naked for a few days I'd have to send the boys away to do it though Want to tell you, Stevie barely talked to the teachers at all last school year, but started this year off with a bang and talks their ears off now. Something about turning 4... Can you believe Stevie will be 5 soon?!? Crazy.

Oh Chris, don't be jealous. Brooker does have some acidents. I woke up yesterday w/ a foot to the face and a soaking wet bed. Pee'd all over To be expected I guess. I don't even know how she caught on so quick. We've been practicing for a year or so. Now she will freek out if there is no potty around when she has to go. I'm still way to chicken to have her in reuglar unders when were at work so she's in the pull up's just in case. On my days off when were home she can wear her big girl unders and she thinks that is just the coolest Well of corse if Brooker is almost 4 my favorite little Stevie is almost 5. I have it on the calendar Oh yea, don't forget the pics of the recital in June Hub's goes in bright and early in the morning for the bone marrow procedure. Thanks for thinking of him. He's a little freeked out. I tell him to buck up, if some of Brookers friends can do it, so can he!!

Update* Well, thought i'd let you know the big wig at OHSU whom I begged to see hubby at the VA did not do the bone marrow biopsy. Instead he throughly read his chart, took 17 viles of blood, and sent him home with a new diagnosis. Seems hubby has something called an auto imune disorder like systematis inflamitory responce infection along with an elviated CRP (C-reactive protien) This is not good at all. From what he tells me the last two blood draws show extreme levels. He said if someone has say prostate cancer the levels are around 2.5-3.0. Hubbys has been 45.0 for months. This is the websight he sent me to explain it better: www.drkaslow.com/html/c-reactive_protein.htmlI have to wait till June for another appt for him unless something really alarming pop's up. Like this isn't I said, sheesh! There sending more med's to see if they can bring the level down some but then when I got the new list, he already takes a couple of them and has sence 07' and obviously they are not working. Up the dose he said. Sheeeeeesh!! I've had about enuf and i'm positive hubby has as well. One day at a time is all I have. On a good note Marys appt's have finally been approved by her insurance. Yipppppie!!! Yes CC, the girls have a house now. Last year the oldest boy bought a foreclosure, fixed it all up for the girls and I bought it. We moved in last Oct but it's been this long for the city to zone it right and all kinds of bull pucky but now after my hand cramped up signing my life away, it's all their's ;D Am I nervous, oh heck yea.

Jen, what's causing the elevated CRP? The article you linked suggested infections (both or either bacterial or viral) and more specifically dental infections, inflammation from obesity, blood sugar disorders, and smoking even if you quit. I'd want to know what was causing his elevated levels in order to remove those factors in addition to taking the CRP-reducing meds & supplements (vitamin E, according to the article) I know, I know, too analytical. I just want to fix it. I don't want Brooker to be without Daddy {{{hugs}}}

Awww Chris, Thx. Doc called for an appt on Wed. They think he has a spine infection. Most likely from his heart surgery when he got a bone infection in his chest. She thinks it moved and decided to take up residence in his spine. They will be doing a MRI here shortly, most likely taking a piece of his spine out, seeing what kind of infection were dealing with, admit him for some IV antib's and try to get it under control. Thats all I know right now. He is home (grouchy ) on bed rest right now. Thx for the HUGS! Brooker and I are at work watching Sponge Bob LOL Doing good
