Hi Everyone!!!!
This is just a quick update. I wish I had time to write more often. My mom was here visiting in May, we miss her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sadly I was sick more than 50% of the time she was here so we didn't get to have much fun. Noah is now 29 months! We can't believe it, he is getting so big and tall, but he is still my baby. He is still learning sign language and he is vocalizing alot more. He crawls and he stands up, he cruises furniture and he is trying hard to walk. He almost has all his teeth and his gorgeous hair is still red as ever = )
Spunky little Isabella is something else! She is wild and full of life. She not only walks but prefers to run. She climbs up everything and would much rather play with a remote control or basically anything that isn't a toy! She is dangerous = )
She loves to repeat whatever we say and she understands everything. She loves to kiss her brother it is so cute. She says " Muah" everytime she kisses him or anyone. It is adorable. She has also learned sign language just from watching the same videos her brother does!
I wanted to ask for everyone's prayers for Noah. He is in a new therapy, he is just the 3rd person to go thru this program, at least at this hospital. It is called "Therasuit Therapy". It is a very intense program that is 3 hours a day, 5 day's a week for 3 weeks. It is meant to build up his muscle tone, and lot's of others things to ultimately get Noah to walk. He wants to walk so badly, he really tries, he just doesn't have good tone and his weak ankles turn in so bad he practically stands on the inner side of his feet = (.
Noah is going to start on week # 3 on Tuesday, almost done. It is not getting easier though. However we are so blessed to see the improvements immediately. He feels alot stronger, he is getting abdominal muscle tone showing. He can walk for a while just holding one of our hands, not both. This is HUGE!! He used to be too wobbly to do that before, now he keeps himself nice and straight= )
I will update with pics and videos of what Noah is going thru. I really think it is incredible and inspirational. He makes us so proud. It is so hard on him that often he cries during the work out. It kills us but we know it is helping him. He started coughing and sneezing today so please pray also that he does not get sick.
In the meantime here is a link to the latest pics from facebook : www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=51065&id=1595917367&l=96cc72b8e5
That is all for now, I am falling asleep...
Love,
Jessika
