Abby turned five yesterday. On Wednesday she went to the zoo with about 15 other kids. Several parents all met and did the zoo trip together. She was obviously having a wonderful time.
Her dad had to work yesterday so her mother took the day off. They went in to have lunch at the fire station with dad and his guys who were working. They had so much fun and had wonderful cupcakes all decorated with beautiful, colorful frosting.
I called and wished her a happy birthday. She is so polite and told me thank you. I asked her how old she was and she told me she was five. She also told me about blowing out her candles.
I really don't know where the time has gone. This has been the fastest five years of my life.

Sounds like she had a fabulous birthday. I loved the lunch with dad at the fire station idea. Such good parents she has!

Even if my son and his wife were not related to me, I'd have to brag on their parenting skills. They do so many neat things for their kids. Abby's brother wanted to go to Mexico for spring break at 18. He was in high school. He went to spring break in Mexico because...you got it...mom and dad drove him to Rocky Point!
