oh yes, on the advice of everyone here, we got Baby Signing Times for Kaelyn and it was awesome!!! As she learned to say new words, if she didn't know the sign for it, she made up her own sign! It was like she thought every word also had a sign. She would ask to watch "baby", which meant Baby Signing Times. If there was a word we used with her a lot and it wasn't on the DVDs (we own 3 of them), we would look it up too. I recommend these DVDs for anyone. It's amazing how it encourages the speech!

I will have to check it out. For my son Caleb (2) I just went to the ASL website and would look up what I wanted him to know. He knows about 20 signs. My kiddos seem to be late talkers so the signing really helps!

I watched Brook on Facebook and cried and smiled and laughed. I've now watched her here and cried and smiled and laughed. She is just so precious. I loved watching her sign. Thank you so much for sharing those.
