Man oh Man this summer is flying. Christopher is already through 5 weeks of his 6 week extended school program. He is just loving every min. of it ;D He is up, dressed and sitting on the porch way before its time for the bus to come. Now only if I could get him to do that during the school year. A week from tomorrow we bring him for his week sleep over camp, which he really doesn't like BUT we will try again and see. We sent him for the first time 2 years ago and it was a DISASTER but we tried again last year and it wasn't GREAT for him BUT was much better then the first year. So Colin and I are hoping this year will even be better then last year.
Amazing that Chris still at 17 comes out with new words he has never ever used before ;D and eating foods he has never been willing to try before ;D He is and always has been a very picky eater, its so neat to see when he reaches over to try something new.
Aug. 20th we go to Columbia in NY City for his MRI. I haven't thought about it much but as it gets closer I do worry a bit. For any that don't know, Chris has a pace maker and a MRI is not recommended BUT it has to be done. I will be much happier once this is over.
Kodi leaves back for her last year of college at the end of the month. We ALL have just loved her being home. I can't believe she graduates college next May.
I am happy to say our business is having an outstanding year, even with the nutty economy. My office is in our home and I am in the middle of all the plans to get it completely redone. I truly am having a blast planning it to be just as I want it ;D
Last but not least, for any of you that remember we adopted a pup back in January aka Maxie, she is now going on 10 months. She is half Lab and half German Shepherd. She has all the traits of a Lab and has gotten so BIG. We all LOVE her tons and she is one very smart happy pup ;D
If you read this long
Happy August.
