Hi there! I haven't been on in awhile, it seems that the holidays mugged me again. I'm wondering if anyone has attended any of the DownsEd conferences or ordered their DVDs? It seems that they are one of the very few groups of people with research based programs for helping our kids to learn.
I'm giving serious thought to ordering at least a couple of DVDs, so was wondering if anyone here had experience with them, or even knows of anyone who does?

Kaelyn's pediatrician attended and RAVES about it. She showed the program to the therapists Kaelyn sees and the speech therapist ordered some of it and uses it with Kaelyn. Kaelyn has done very well with it.

Bob gets their emails and thinks highly of the Buckleys, for the most part. Other than that, he don't know nothing, no experience with their workshops, DVDs, etc. -- Bob

I don't know anything about the DVDs or workshops, but the materials to help our kids learn to read are wonderful. I started out downloading them (free), but got frustrated at having to cut and cover each piece. Finally I had enough money set aside and bought the first three parts. The fourth is now available in American English, so I will be getting that after tax money comes in. We haven't been consistent enough using the cards and stuff, but Mikah enjoys them and learns from them.
