In light of the new posts about FB taking over I have an idea. A couple of us have updated and I think instead of the little snip~it's we post on FB a good ol' fashioned update, Uno style, is called for.
Ya think?!!
Brookster is awesome. She has been having all her tests for kindy lately. Rockin' them out for sure. Remember when I was posting about her going into the Spec Ed for two days, Kindy for two days and then the ALC class for one day. Well thats all changed now b/c of her scores on her tests ;D The kid doesn't qualify for PT anymore. She qualifies for OT but just barely b/c the teachers and I fibbed and said what she was tested on that day does not reflect daily life LOL I feel she really need some more help in that area. She will get some ST once a week b/c all of a sudden she is booming w/ words ;D Her test scores were not low enuf for her to be in the Spec Ed class so instead of that she will just be in reg. kindy w/o an aide and go to the resorce center instead of Sped for her OT and ST. I love the resorce room a whole lot better than the Sped room b/c it's three kids (all the same size. not any kid from K to 5th grade) and one teacher, who I already know well and she loves The Brookster already and has been taking time out of her days Tues and Thurs to go hang w/ Brook at her school now. The Sped room was just started this year after I was a pester and made them start one for the grade school level. Never had one before. Now after all the pestering for two yrs, Brook will not be going there but I am Thankful it is in place for the kids who need it and thrive there. That makes me happy. She will still be going into the ALC room to work on the few things she does that is considered 1st grade level one day a week. This kid, I tell ya, she is amazing!!I just can't wait for this next school year!!
Brook also has her first UTI and E~Coli. That is suckin' but she has meds and is doing better. Also, Dr Tami heard a murmmer the other day when we were at the doc for Brooks peepee test. Were going to go back to the heart doc after being realeased two yrs ago. I'm a bit freeked but hopefully in true Brookster fashion, she will be fine. You know me, paranoid freek I am, has been laying in bed at night when she is sleeping w/ my stethascope listining to her heart. Some nights it sounds ok, other night it sounds all weird. I don't know Even though I passed teh first round of school (yea me) it's not till next round here in May that we learn heart sounds
Well, my hand is numb and we need to hit the garage sale at church so I best go. I love Uno!! {{{{HUGS}}}}
