I'm not spose to tell anyone, but i'm just a ball of nerves and need to tell someone, my best buddies, and ask for some thoughts and/or Prayers for my little sissy. For those who have been here awhile know that I had cervical cancer and had a hysterectmy (sp) back when I was 33 yrs old. Today my sister came over to ask if i'd go to the doctor with her next thursday. I guess she has been going and not telling anyone. Begged me not to tell mom, just yet as her b~day is sat and big party tomorrow for Mom. My little sister, who is 33 yrs old now, has cervical cancer She was crying and scared to death. I know those feellings but being the big sister I tried to tell her the good things of hysterectamy, no more periods ;D Well, that didn't help much. I just hate this for her. I will do the same for her as she did for me and care for her even when she is doped up and not making sence LOL (I told her that and she reminded me she has video LOL) She is my little sister, I love her. If you have a spare Prayer i'd sure appreciate it. I really am dreading the day we tell Mom BTW lets not say anything on FB ok. Sissy is there and she will know I told

Jennifer, I'll be happy to pray for your sister. Please keep us posted on how she's doing. I'm hoping it will help your mom to remember that you also had cervical cancer, and are now doing well. HUGS to you and your sister, Susan

I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. My big sis had cervical cancer. This year marks 20 years since her surgery, and she is healthy, and doing great!

Well we went in yesterday and the doc is certain they got all of the "areas/spots" out when they did the biopsy thing. She will go back in every three months for check ups and I WILL make sure she goes. She has the "high risk" HPV virus doc says. I didn't know there were differernt levels of "risk" w/ HPV. Just thought it all the same. And did we all know that boys/men can carry a form of HPV in their mouths and in turn can result in lung cancer. It was on the news the other day. I had no idea. I will keep track of Sister very closly and again, THANK YOU ALL for your thoughts and Prayers!!! {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}
