Yea, me too But alas.... Took Brookster in for her kindy check up, thyroid blood draw and oh, while were there, lets check her tinkle again for giggles. There is still blood in her tinkle. I swear, i'm gunna scream!!!! So now we are being sent to Doernbeckers to a pee"oligist" for some kidney function test, ultrasound to make sure they are shaped right huh? and some other stuff. Dr Tami did say the last thing that comes to her mind is a tethered spinal cord. WTH? I told her I wanted to hear nothing of that and we would go to the pee doctor and see him first. I'm off to the funny farm.... <----- not joking LOL

I am praying hard. I have a friend whose daughter has chiari and a tethered cord, so I am praying hard for Brook.

NOT even thinking of the cord thing. Just figure out why the blood in the tinkle and then, like Brandi, i'm DONE.

YIKES girl, a "tethered spinal cord" thats exactly what they thought was wrong with Chris BUT thank goodness was not the problem. MRI can tell you right away if its a tethered cord or not? Sadly Chris couldn't have an MRI due to his pace maker, so he had to have the old fashion test which truly SUCKED but if it becomes necessary at least Brook can have an MRI which is painless I pray thats not her issue but if it is the procedure to correct is pretty simple. Well as simple as any surgery is... Does Brook have any back pain too? Prayers going out from NJ that they can figure out the problem and fix CC~

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tethered_spinal_cord_syndromeI'm not exactly versed in this one Jackie. This is what I found but Brook has none of these symptoms so i'm really sure it's just her kidneys. Her doc opens in 15 minutes and i'm calling up the referal lady to get this show on the road. She has almost all the symptoms of kidney infection

Oh CC, yes Brook has complained of back pain and lower abdomen pain. Thought it all related to UTI.

I would have thought that antibiotic should have handled any infection in her urinary tract, including kidneys. Poor Brook

We go to see the pee~oligist on July 7th. I have to do a whole week of tests before we go. Measure pee output, etc. We shall see....
