Kaelyn finished her first year of PPCD yesterday. So hard to believe!!!
I guess that is my only good news. I had had horrible abdominal pain since last Saturday. Went to the doc yesterday, he sent me for a CT scan right away. I now have a ruptured cyst that has caused internal bleeding because my blood is too thin from too much coumadin. So I have to go in for daily blood draws for the next several days, and if my hemoglobin gets too low (it is slowly dropping unfortunately) he will admit me. I got a vitamin K shot yesterday and today. He did give me pain meds and I can finally function somewhat!!
I'm like you Jennifer, so done with the medical stuff!

Hang in there, gf. {{{hugs}}}
I've been praying for you too - that's some scary stuff, blood troubles, so I send it all Heavenward and pray for peace and joy in addition to the healing & wisdom for good decisions.
God bless you.

This morning my hemoglobin was slowly coming back up, but now my INR is too low. The doctor hasn't called yet, but I assume I'll be going back on the coumadin. I see him in the morning. I'm thinking about asking him to put me on some medical leave for work. My BFF suggested it, and I was like nah, I can handle it. But I can't focus all that well and I still hurt despite the pain meds. I worry about my judgement doing home studies-I sure wouldn't want to miss something major because my thinking is cloudy and place a kid in an unsafe environment!!
Yes Jackie, we do need to meet again soon. Hopefully I will feel up to it soon and will holler at you!

I think that would be a good idea. You should have some resting time. Plus, you shouldnt be out driving around on pain meds anyway. (Do as I say, not as I do) LOL

Well, I did get a week off, and i think that helped tremendously! Yesterday I started lovanox injections, and my coumadin. Monday I will get labs drawn and they will adjust my meds accordingly. It sure takes awhile for pain from internal bleeding to go away! Next time I will go to the doc right away when I have that kind of pain!!
