It has been suggested that Emily could use a new robe for Christmas...but...alas...she has to have a zip front and not a waist tie one. Has to be short too with shorter sleeves...and I am striking out totally. Lighter weight would be good but apparently not the time of year to find those...Every source this year appears to be understocked in them...so if anyone has a bright idea.... ;D

LOL...I forgot to mention that there is also another issue...Emily thinks most robes look..."Elderly" LOL...but as I said tie robes don't leave much to the imagination when she wears them ;D

The zippered ones do look elderly - lol You could maybe sew one - or put a zipper in a tie robe...

well...seeing as how Ed sews on our buttons....LOL....but I do remember the neat robes that were all the rage when I was in college...they used to make them with 3 bathtowels in bright colors. One for the bodice and sleeves and one for the back and one for the front with a zipper. Really cool and just the right weight and no ties to keep coming open. Now if someone made me one they would have to do it with beach towels or bath sheets to fit...LOL
