Hey Everyone Been a while, work has been really busy. Just wanted to give a quick update on Evan. He is doing very good, he has graduated to a 4 wheel walker and is all over the place (when he wants to). He is very close to walking. We are working on kid proofing the house, as he has found my wifes china cabinet, and now knows that pots and pans make a lot of noise and really irritate mom and dad. He is growing like a weed, and staying pretty healthy. He has started to enjoy eating what we eat, we think the baby food days are almost over. We are going in for tubes on Thursday, thank god. He had 8 ear infections last year, and 3 of them lasted a month or so. Here is a picture I took this weekend after he got his first haircut at the barbers. Boy did he put up a fight, but the old barber shop we go to is awesome, and the old guys that cut hair were so good with him. Have a good week Clint

Oh, can not believe how other people's kids grow! Thanks for the picture of your handsome son! WTG, Evan! I have a question, because I always cut my son's hair by myself and that goes with lots of tears and fights.... Oh.... How much is it at barber shop to make a hair cut for 5 y/old or so? Do you think Luke will not fight there? Good luck with the tubes, Alice

Glad Evan is doing so well!! Good luck w/ tubes...it will make a big difference.
Alice - a barber shouldn't charge more than 7-10 dollars for Luke, depends on the place of course. I sometimes take Meghan to Lemon Tree of Hot Cuts/SuperCuts. They do a great job with her and I usually find coupons in the Penneysaver for their kids haircuts ($7-10) and use those.

Clint,
What a sweetie! And very handsome with the new haircut! Eric fights like a sumo wrestler when we get his hair cut...by the time we're done, my muscles in my arms are like "Jelly" from holding him. So I can relate!! Good luck with the surgery on Thursday....Eric is also having surgery on thursday...T & A...Rainbow baby and childrens hospital in cleveland. I'll be thinking of Evan and praying for you guys that all goes well!.................Dolly

Handsome guy. That's a good looking little boy haircut on a good looking little boy. Like the shirt, too. Wish I had downloaded, uploaded one of the photos wife took of Charlie after his little boy haircut on Sunday. He's one of the rare kids with Ds who does not have an allergy to haircuts. Cheers, Bob

Clint,
He is still such an absolute cutie, and his haircut looks awesome. Isn't it awesome when you find a place for haircuts that you can go to without stressing? (Especially when you have a boy, because they need haircuts so much more frequently)
Good luck with the tubes. Ethan is on his second set, and he has never had an ear infection. At 21 months he wasn't saying or signing anything, so we decided to give tubes a try, especially since his hearing tests on the left ear were consistently weird. I couldn't believe the difference in him - within three weeks he was babbling MUCH more, and his first words came not long after!
Alice, a haircut at a barbershop for a little one should be under $10.00. If that doesn't work for Luke, maybe you can find someone who cuts hair out of their home. The gal who cuts Ethan's hair is an angel, she cuts it in her home, and sings right along with me to keep him from crying. She really takes her time and gives him a great cut, none of those bowl cuts for my little boy! It used to be stressful to take him to the salon near our home, but I actually enjoy trips to Erica's house!

I just love that smiling face! We just got Carter a reverse walker out of sheer frustration and he is a whiz at it, too. Are your walls beat up yet?

Nice to hear from you and thanks for the update. Good luck with the tube surgery's and just to let you know Adam now 7 started with a walker at 4 and boy it took no time at all for him to walk without the walker. Then make sure you get yourself some good running shoes. You will need them. ;D
