Hi, I am not sure whether this is the right place to put my intro but here goes anyway. I am Julie from NZ and mum to four children, a 20 year old son, 12 year old daughter, 8 year old daughter, and 6 year old son. My youngest has downs syndrome. The previous post about behaviour and the reply about the full moon being the problem was interesting My son has been very grumpy over the last few days and I have been worried that it was because he is finding his move to the middle school a little too much. I would rather believe it is the full moon!!!! I can work thru that!! Anyway, looking forward to getting to know every one, this looks like a great site. ;D

Hi Julie,
I am Kim from New Zealand and have only just joined this site too! Isn't it great?
There is lots of information in the health area from people who have been there and done that before. My little boy is Jordan and he is six years old, we live in Whangarei.
I have passed on the information to the editor of the national editor (magazine) dsa in New Zealand as it is so good. Where did you find out about Uno Mas?

Hey, thanks for the welcome. Perhaps you had better be prepared for a kiwi invasions cos it was thanks to you kim, posting this site on our nz website that I found it! Its great! We are in the middle of a heatwave, which for Taranaki is not normal!! The girls seem to be taking it intheir stride but Elias is not coping, he is waking a lot in the night, and tired at school. We are dairy farmers, so he loves to be outside with us a lot, but I wish sometimes he would be just as happier inside, where at least its cooler. Anyway, I had better go and hang some washing out!! Thanks again for the welcome.

Hi Julie,
Welcome to Unomas!!! I'm Barb, mom to Alison 22 months with DS, Sarah 8, and Caitlin 14. We live in the Buffalo, New York area where there is anything BUT a heatwave! LOL We've been having unusually cold weather - a couple of weeks of below zero temperatures ( doesn't matter which temp scale you use, celcius or farenheit - below zero on both!).
Can't wait to hear more about you and your family. Barb
