Colin and Chris once a week always go to our local Mc Donalds and every Wed. its Clown night there. K, the clown they hired Hmmm lets just say she has issues Chris hasn't wanted to go in the longest time, has requested that the chicken be brought home. K, no biggy, but tonight he requested they go and NONE of us remembering it was Wed which means Clown Night said K, lets do. Colin tells me as he pulled up, he said to Chris, "Wed, Clown" and Chris says very nicely "No Clown, No Thank You, Chicken on Thursday" OMG guys how very cool he got thru his idea very clearly ;D ;D ;D ;D So Col said K, lets go to the other one and off they went and Chris was happier then a Pig in you know what LOL This is truly a BIGGY here as its hard to always know what Chris is thinking or wants and NOOO way did he want to see this clown and according to Kodi he is right on target she is the most annoying / depressing clown she has ever seen she told me I am sooo HAPPY for my guy that he got his thoughts thru to us thru speech ;D ;D Just reinforced to me NEVER give up in the speech area, even if its more delayed then you hoped, Chris is 12 and still surprising us in this area ;D CC ~

That's great CC, we rejoice in Chris' achievement!
Why do they keep the clown around?

That is great - I'm impressed too that he knows his days of the week and picked right up on that when Colin told him Wed, Clown.
What is up with them keeping that clown?!! Must be the owner's relative or something LOL

CC that is so cool...not only did he get the point across, but I love the "no thank you" - he's so polite too!!! I'm with him, no clown, no thank you, I'll have my chicken with him on Thursday. I can't stand clowns - even those without issues! Our IHOP near us has character night every Friday. Although, I'm not so sure the characters are always the ones in costume. I get a kick out of it though b/c they're knock off's of real characters - for example Sponge Bob is Sponge Guy! OMG I think I'm getting my sense of humor back! Need to come here more often!
