My little bug has caught a bug and it has developed into RSV. I'm now the proud new renter of a nebulizer! Woo hoo!!! Hmm, so busy these past three months! Is she just getting started? OK, too many of you went through far much worse but this is my private idaho and I don't handle sickness to well! This is when I start to kick and scream! LOL! Just say a prayer for Em if you get the chance. (Maybe one for Mom too!) It seems like when I pray for something not to happen, it does, so I'm keeping quiet for now! Her pediatrician gave me a gold star for catching it early, so hopefully we recover quickly. When dear 'ol dad gets home he will be handed a baby while mom dashes to the liquor cabinet! Let's just say this morning was quite eventful and leave it at that. Thanks for hearing me gripe.

Aw Man Cbean... that DARN RSV!!!! It IS a good thing you caught it early... too many of our kids spend their time in the hospital then at home with a rented nebulizer Russell was in the hosp for 2 weeks with RSV when he was around 9 months old. Hang in there girl. Although sickness does not bother me with my kids.... RSV really shed light into how SICK Russell could get compaired to my girls. We caught it TOO late because he was so small and laying around with a fever. something that does not bother me. But 3 days and lethargy, it was time for the docs office and then an immediate trip to the hospital. So, it's good to be cautious like you were! Have a sip tonight for me too! LOL.... I don't really dip into the sauce much anymore...I'll live vicariously through you if you don't mind!!! Hugs and Prayers for a Speedy recovery for Miss Emily! A.

Wish we could all jump through the computer and come help! It is so hard to hear of any of the UnoMas kids being sick, but, let's face it, Emily is special!
She is so small and you are so new to this.
Know that my prayers are with you.
Please, please keep us posted!

We own a nebulizer. Gonna use it on Robert for the first time in just a bit. May be late in the year to start Synagis but think you should ask your ped about it. Charlie was hospitalized 3 times for RSV but never when we were getting him those monthly $1000-$2000 shots. I'll send all the positive energy I can spare at the moment for Miss Emily Noelle, just wish I had more and more to spare. -- Bob

Thank you everyone...I know the prayers here always work, so hopefully we should be good.
Bob, you keep all your positive thoughts in your corner and I will send some from ours...isn't tomorrow a big day? I hope we don't need those shots, but we'll see how she bounces back from this and if this blasted RSV decided to yeild it's ugly head again!
Meanwhile after treatment #2 she seems better already. Plus my little bug was smiling under the mask. What a precious little thing she is - she always has a smile for her Mommy...I think she already knows that a smile and a prayer is all I need. Also makes me wonder if she is too easy. Anyone KWIM?
So as her eyes grow wider my become slits. I am shot! Don't cook tonight call Chicken Delight!
I'll keep you posted!
