Charlie's home and is happy to be playing with favorite toys. We finally got discharged this morning, after Charlie's O2 sats looked okay during the night and Dr. Jacobs checked him this morning. Good man, sensible doctor. Nurses had said they wouldn't let Charlie leave until he had taken 8 oz. in 8 hours. Not. I told Dr. Jacobs I thought we'd do better with eating and drinking when we got him home. Also told him I thought all the time in the oxygen tent and the IV fluids helped him make some progress against his virus. As soon as we got him home and got a dose of Lortab in him, he took 4 oz. of yogurt and a couple ounces of juice. I think we'll do okay but may be a bit of a struggle for next several days. I didn't know who to thank for setting Charlie's monitor to alarm for a brady every time his heartrate dropped below 70 last night. Maybe it's a good thing I don't know who was responsible for that one. I'm beat. But both I and Charlie are happy to be home. Thanks again, all you Uno Masers. -- Bob

Hi BOB!!!!! PHEW you made it through. The first few days are the roughest. Liv did the same thing Charlie did. The first night she satted low was junkie etc. The next day she was sooo much better.... The amazing thing about the t and a is that you will notice next Winter whatta HUGE difference it makes in relieving sinus infections. All those BIG tonsils and ads clogs up the snotnose then eventually starts a sinus infection. Olivia has had such fabulous winters since hers were taken out. GOOD LUCK CHARLIE!!!! Lotsa popsicles!!!! Bob,
So happy to hear Charlie is home and doing well. What a relief! Please get some rest.
Steff, Referring to your previous post........... "you will notice next Winter whatta HUGE difference it makes" Did you possibly have the audacity to refer to the months of December, January and February in Los Angeles as a winter? LOL
