You know we all need a good laugh and I thought we could share a funny or embarassing story that happened with your child I'll start cause I just was giggling bout this one... Okay...One night I was sitting in the living room on the floor folding clothes while getting the kids ready for our ds support group meeting, Everything was going as planned. I had Liv in the cutest dress too. So the kids and I go and I send em into the playroom with the people who volunteer their time to watch the kids while we attend the meeting. SO they have the regular workers watching the kids and a group of teenagers from my old catholic school(all male) helping to get their Christian service hours. After the meeting I come in and they are all staring at me... I'm getting a bit paranoid as the guys were also in a corner kinda laughing as the main childcare worker says..Stephanie are you missing anything??? I am baffled NOPE... WELL she says Olivia(who was about 2 and a half at the time) ask Olivia to show you something thats under her dress... She lifts it up to find my G STRING sexy mamma panties on OVER her diaper. The guys just burst into laughter and I NEVER folded my laundry downstairs again. The end

;D ;D That would never happen to me. My plain, white, cotton underwear could easily be mistaken for a diaper! (I think I need to go shopping!) I have journal upon journal of cute things all the other kids have said or done, but Joshua doesn't do much more than sleep, nurse, and poop so far! (Well, he has displayed a pretty impressive "fountain" a time or two, but all boy babies do that.)

That is so funny I almost peed in my sexy mama panties. ;D ;D ;D One thing Adam did just last week is: we went out for lunch where I work, he had to go to the bathroom, so I took him. On his way to the bathroom he grabbed a french-toast from a man's plate and took a big bite. Of course I made him appologize and give the man a Loonie and throw the frendh-toast into the garbage which he was not impress with at all. On our back from the bathroom he just stopped and looked at 2 older ladies and said " Adam good boy, 18 poo-poos" Oh my God the whole restaurant started to laugh. I returned to my table to finish eating and my husband and daughter were laughing their heads off. The next day at work I was serving a customer and he said "Boy your son sure has a lot of Poo-poos." My face was all red, but he was just joking.

That is a great story Steff! Anyway, this story, which was NOT funny at the time seems funnier now. One Friday when Brian was home we both went to get Jason from the bus. The bus driver pulled into the driveway and motioned for us to get on the bus. We were a little confused . . . until we saw NAKED boy! I mean, not ONE stitch of clothing on. I was soooo glad Brian was home that day to deal with it. Needless to say, he was no longer allowed to sit in the back of the bus after that incident! Funny, now whenever I tell that story to any of my guy friends, they think it is just hysterical. I think some of them live vicariously through Jason. I mean, he does live the ultimate boy's dream of burping, scratching, undressing, grabbing boobies, etc., whenever he dang well pleases and most people laugh that stuff off. I was telling my boss that and he said, hell, he's living a 43 year old man's dream! LOL By the way, I haven't shared this before, but let's just say that stripping tends to run on Jason's mother's side of the family, so I'm not sure if we will ever be able to put a stop to it completely, it's in his genes! Seriously Steff.... I am (to say the least) a BIT jealous that you (fter kids) even DARE to own G-Strings... man If I tried one these day I would lose it and NEVER find until..... OK.... not going there..... But OMG.... HAD to laugh... And Laugh.... and Laugh... And STILL laughing..... ALL 3 of my kids have had an obsession with my underware and love putting itround their necks like Hawaiian style Leis.... Often people are greeted at my door by a Child adorned with numerous pairs of Knickers, Jocks and Bras... And the EVER LOVING SMILE that goes with it.... Jessie..... PLEASE do not ever tell that story again.... My Lewis is only 4, and can strip and hurl his clothes accross the floor better than ANY I have ever seen in any movie... and seriosly, he would prefer to be NAKED... Seems I spend half my life lately chasing him trying to put clothes on him... He ALSO, Loves to Burp, Fart, and Scratch in public, and the bigger audience, the better.... Something we are VERY SERIOUSLY working on..... But still You gotta laugh when he comes running into the room, throws his undies at you, does some kinda funky dance, turns and points at you, and the FARTS and runs away.... I mean COME ON.... that HAS to be Impressive for ANY 4 yr old.... :-[I just wish I knew where he learned it from... AS for Funny stories.... A few weeks ago as I was dropping Lewis at school, we got out of the car, and I handed Lewis his Back Pack. He was in such a hurry to get into school that he did not really want to wait, so I had to tell him wait. Meanwhile his Aid was standing nearby, and is still getting to know Lewis and his ways, and I did NOT realise she was there. So she was trying to sneak an insight into our interactons to really see how things work, (something I commend her for)... Anyways... Lewis was trying to get his backpack on by himself and pushed me away when I tried to assist... After a few attempts, he threw the bag onto the ground and signed "BROKEN".... I Promptly replied "it is NOT broken, you just need some help", in a serious tone... at that point his aid who was hiding and listening in just burst into laughter.... We all know how smart this kid is, but to hear and see him interact in such a "typical" 4yr old way....was just magic... Needless to say... he Kicked his bag across the carpark all the way to the classroom, because he would NOT accept any help getting it on his back... forget the fact it has a handle he can carry it with.... BOYS.....

This was such a good idea Steffipoo. ;D ;D ;D Jessie I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see your face. ;D Just too funny. Adam also likes to go around without clothes especially socks. He never keep a pair of socks on unless he has shoes to keep them on. ;D He comes home from school and the first thing he takes off are his shoes then the socks even before taking off his coat. He will even hide them behind the couch so we don't put them back on. This morning I just put on an old pair of jogging pants as we we're going to paint the living room. When I took Adam to his taxi he rubbed my leg and told the driver " :Mommy nice pants today" Ya right !!! I love this thread and hope it continues. Nice way for us to have a good laugh when we need it, terrific idea. Tammy gotta love the stuburness of our kids, it shows that they can think for themselves no matter what. And by the way he did find a way to get the school bag to the class. Got to give him that. ;D

OK, here's one. Couple wks ago, dh was at home with Nicholas while I was getting groceries. When I got home, dh said he gave him Tylenol, because he was fussy. (Yes, we do that, too. I remember this was a topic in another thread!!) Anyway, I asked if he'd had lunch, and he says No...... I said he's probably hungry! So, the boy LOVES pizza, so I put one in the oven to cook while I was putting groceries away. He saw this and wanted it NOW!! He grabs the pizza box, follows my every step, yelling, "Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!" I'm telling him it's cooking, have to wait! Then the oven timer goes off, he RUNS over, wraps his arms around the front of the oven, again yelling, "Pizza! Pizza!" He ate FIVE pieces of pizza. Told dh he might try food instead of medicine next time!

K, this was NOT funny at the time but now that its been years later I can laugh When Chris was 6 or 5 can't remember now, it was summer and slept a little later then he did this one morning First mistake I made that day, LOL I woke up, and as I was walking down the stairs I thought I heard water running Hmmmm Wondering where Chris was I went straight to the living room thinking he was playing Nintendo, as he loves to do when he first wakes up. He wasn't there I then proceeded to walk back to the kitchen and OMG the floor I kid you not WAS at least an inch of water EVERY where I turn and look and there is my little guy standing on a chair and using the spayer thing, just poruing water out onto the floor I just said "Chris what are you doing??" and he so sweetly says "SWIMMING" LOLOL If I had slept any longer YUP he would have been swimming for sure LOLOL What a mess BUT had to give him credit he wanted to go swimming and figured a way to make it possible CC ~
