HIS FIRST LOOSE TOOTH!!!! YEAH FOR RUSSELL!!!
I have been waiting for this!!!! I am so excited for him! My mom thought he had a loose tooth and it looked loose to me too, but it isn't easy getting into his mouth LOL.. I tried again while brushing his teeth this morning and, yep, it's loose!!!
I remember I asked here, I think, how old some of your kids were before they got their first loose tooth, the average age was a bit later than 6 for most. But when Russell got his baby teeth he actually patterned a typical child and had all the teeth he should by the time he was 18 months or so.. and kept patterning a typical child. So, I was thinking the "loosing" would be coming soon..
AND IT DID!!!

WOW! What a big day to celebrate. I hope it's the front tooth. They look so cute with front teeth missing. ;D Hope the fairy is good to you. PS: Make sure you take a picutre. I have one of all my four kids and it is priceless when they get older. It's also a good tool for blackmail when they get to be teenagers. ;D

Ethan is too little to be losing teeth yet (still getting them, LOL!) but I wanted to say CONGRATS! What a milestone! I'm sure the tooth fairy will soon be a fairly frequent visitor to your house. Victoria lost her first tooth about six months ago, and I bought some ultra-fine irridescent glitter for "fairy dust". I sprinkled some on her forehead and cheek, some on her pillow, and a little on her windowsill. Then I wrote her a note from the tooth fairy thanking her for the beautiful tooth, telling her what a great job she does brushing, and encouraging her to continue doing a great job. I signed it with her fairy's name (Starlight) and left the note next to her bed.
When she got up in the morning, OMG, it was one of those awesome mom moments. She was just soooo thrilled, and totally believed the fairy had been there. She had to call and tell all of her aunts and uncles and of course grandparents about it.

Amber is 5 and she lost her first tooth in April. She was a little upset when it came out but after she found $5 under her pillow the next morning she was fine. She was trying to take out her other teeth. Amber loves money. Vickie

Thanks guys!!! I AM so excited!! Milestone are FAR and few between sometimes with Russell!
But, I won't be doing the Tooth Fairy. I know I have mentioned that Russell is delayed in areas... and congnitively, Russell is WAY behind... Russell doesn't have a clue about characters like the tooth fairy, Santa, Ect.. and their purpose. Heck, he doesn't even really know to open up his gifts. He only knows who Elmo is, and If I suggested Elmo be the tooth fairy, he still wouldn't get it.
Also, Russell is still in his crib and thrashes when he sleeps. I find his pillow at the other end of the crib alot or on top of him LOL.. so the tooth would get lost!
Vicki, I think that is GREAT that Amber can understand the tooth fairy. That is awesome.
Laura, I will keep that in mind for Reece... cute idea. We do that too with Easter and bunny paw tracks in the house for Reece.

WOW A ~ at 6 years old Chris didn't even have all his teeth yet. He was late getting them in and late having them come out
Kodi on the other hand, she got her teeth very very young and OMG at 4 years old, I will never forget we were all sitting around eatting pizza and her first tooth came out Being she was my first, I was convinced something was terribly wrong with her teeth, cause loseing a tooth at 4 seem sooo young to me I called the Dentist the next day and he told me NOPE when you get them as young as Kodi did they will come out young, I was sooo relieved and till this day, Colin still laughs at me, how I panicked over that, LOLOL
KEEP wiggling that tooth Mr. Russell
Chris too could give a hoot bout the tooth fairy, funny actually when he did lose his first tooth, he came running to me with tooth in hand and said fix it, LOLOL He thought I could just glue it back in LOLOL

;D RUSSELL!!!! Hey toothless..hee hee. Olivia lost her first tooth a couple of months ago and she is 6 and a half.SOOO funny too cause when we noticed it was loose she was REALLY proud but then happened to eat it with her tuna sandwich!!!LOL i tell ya the child will eat ANYTHING.She has a tooth loose next to it(she lost the bottom tooth) but I noticed it started sticking WAY out yesterday. WELL now its not so loose and the tooth thats growing in looks like its growing in the flipping back of her mouth. Me thinks the dentist will get a call before it starts growing down the back of her throat!!! Liv got 5 bucks from the tooth fairy and bought some paper markers and books with it. We had a blast shopping for my big grown up girl.
