Hi guys...cant find my last thread on this so another new one...
Talked to Emily last night and she sounds great! She helped cater a large Baptismal party last weekend that Norine and her hubby hosted for a Greek family. She said it was fun and they had over 100 people!
I am really looking foreward to her one week vacation but I think she is apprehensive that we might try to keep her here...LOL. Katie asked her if she liked Houston better than Amarillo...and she said YES. When Katie asked why....she said...."well, Katie, ....it's all about the FREEDOM"!
Jackie mom to Emily 24 and working almost 1000 miles from home.

WOW Jackie, its so great that she's enjoying her work and independence. I know that she would never want that independence if you had't encouraged it all along.

Jackie,
She said the words that I was thinking!
I know it is hard for you, it must be, but, she is doing what she wants to do. I am so envious! She is living her dreams.
I am still keeping you and Dr. Dodson in my prayer's.

I wish her all the best with her new job!!
Have a great holiday weekend!!

Ps: I can only imagine how hard it is for her to be so far away from you & Ed. My phone bill would be awfully high ;D
