Two days ago the nurses and dietician recognised that Noah probably needed to start solids seeing as he would burst into tears after inhaling his bottles every three hours. I was a little bummed that I wasn't there for the first spoon full but he is coming home this week so i'll get heaps of opportunity. As well as that Noah rolled over onto his stomach the same day. He has absolutely no head control so its a bit scary when he does it cause he can't turn his head but apart from that it's very cute Noah's sats when he is asleep is about 85-90%. He is really well and the Dr's are absolutely mistified because they can't understand his dramatic recovery. Anyway, just thought I would let you all know how he is going. Thanks again for your prayers.

Thank you for the update ! I often think about children that have been in posts and wonder what happened with them so it is nice to see ! Noah is teaching everyone not to presume anything negative about him ! Best of luck with him & your other children. Just take one day at a time and when you do feel overwhelmed, remind yourself that these health issues are not permament, and life will not ALWAYS be this stressful & trying. Looking forward to seeing you more on the board !

:-[Ohhhhhhhhhh I am so sorry to hear this. I can imagine what you're going through. At birth MeKyah was hospitalized for 1 1/2 months and I was soooooooooo sick of going to the hospital as well. So all I can say is hang in there and when the time comes again, Noah will have the best homecoming ever. Take care, Jeannette

Well, I was reading your post and got so happy that he was startind real food and going home. Justin has played this game with me so many times. He gets sick FROM the hospital almost every time and that postpones our homecomings. I am happy he is doing better. Justin sats the same as Noah at night, too. The doc says we all will drop a little as we drift off into that blissful deep sleep. Anyway, congrats on the solids...I just hope that didn't get aspirated into his lungs like Justin did....that caused fevers too. At least ask if that could have caused it or if it is just a hospital bug. I know my kids were pawned off almost everytime I had to go to the hospital. I think combined, he has been in the hospital about 7 mos of his life. I hate it!!!! I just grumble thru it all the way. Keep the prayers going and he will be home soon.
