First my electrician runs off with our money and doesnt finish the job. That sets us back GGrrrr Next at 2am this morning my dh gets held at gunpoint in his truck at a traffic light in Camden NJ and gets robbed of everything in it, thank God they didnt shoot but they told him they were. And of course he just got his loot(allowance) for the week. It's 3am and he is finnally on his way home after reprting it to police, they basicly said good luck on catching the guys. To them its an every day thing in that city. Can I SCREAM now, crying doesnt seem to do me any good anymore.

Awwww Annette....that's terrible!! Tell Michael we are SO glad that at least he wasn't hurt. I can't imagine how scared he must have been though. I do think screaming might be appropriate at this point. HUGS to your whole family. Susan

OMG Annette, I cant even begin to imagine how terrified Michael had to be or you once you found out!!!!! Thank God he is ok and not harmed physically!!!! I'm not sure I would ever drive again if that happened to me, eekkk!!!! As for that electrician of yours, can you turn him in to the state he is licensed in? I know here in Michigan you can do that if you get ripped off by a licensed plumber or electrician. That really sucks! But the good thing is....you guys are okay, you have beautiful children and one more on the way and you are in my prayers for some peace and wayyyy less stress!!!! hugs to you both, Robin PS you never told us if this is a boy or a girl and what its name will be. I am betting it is a boy, so am I right?

I agree with Shellk, that electrian dude is a HUGE LOUSE !! Glad your hubbies okay!! My Husband used to drive a truck until 3 years ago, he was also held up at gun point and robbed !! I was held up to at a gas station I worked at back in high school, VERY SCARY to experience !!! The main thing is that your husband wasn't harmed!! www.dssupport.net/buddywalk

WOW sssooo scarey!!! Glad your husband didn't get hurt. I'm not surprised he's home-- many times in situations of stress we hold together OK, but on getting home fall apart. Give him a day or two! As for the electrition:Not much you can do, however I have a rule of thumb that helps. When any worker comes, I sign a paper with them: what exactly is the job to be done, with which materials, and by which date. I also write the agreed price. Then I don't pay (except for materials as brought) untill ALL is done! And I do this with EVERYONE, even relatives. Better your nerves should be shot than your husband! Hope you both feel better soon!

Oh WOW Annette! Glad Michael is ok! I bet he would need some downtime...I know my Mike gets the same way under stress. Will he be going to the U?S with you tomorrow? Maybe that's part of his anxiety too. Praying that everything goes well! We'll be waiting for the results.

That is awful. I come from a small community where we hardly have anything like this happens. I am really glad your jusband wasn't hurt. You have every right to scream as hard as you want and get it out. Hugs going your way from Canada!!
