Chris has had more medical stuff since he was born then anyone should have at only 11 years and truly any one medical puts him in a craz

CC - my radiologist is a whiz w/ kids who don't want to sit still for an x-ray....when MM had to have her AAI x-ray done he had a few tricks, if we needed them. (we didn't...so I hope I'm getting this right) he keeps a flashlight in his office and not sure but he either points the beam at the wall and has the child watch it, or has them look at it very briefly (not good for the eyes, hunh? so not sure if that part is right) i had to stay w/ her while she had the x-rays so i got my extra dose of radiation, lol... anyways...something about the flashlight- bring one along? or maybe have him watch a puppet or something? i know he's older and maybe these things won't work...wish i had paid more attention when the doc was explaining his 'tricks' to me... anyways - good good luck and hope Christopher is feeling greatsoon! hugs, laurie

Christie, Don't have any words of wisdom to share, but want to say that I hope & pray that you guys all get healthy asap!!! It absolutely breaks my heart when my kiddos are sick.....even when they feel the need to share their illness with me. ((Hugs)) Sherri

hello Christopher has probably already had his x-rays done but this is what we do with Courtney, We tell her they are going to take pictures of her bones and she needs to smile pretty for the pictures. Seems to work most of the time for us. Hope Christopher is feeling better soon and the rest of the family too. Hugs, Shelley

THANKS GALS Well for now the Doc decided to hold off on the x-rays after listening to his lungs on Monday. We talked bout it at the visit and she felt the way Chris is, it may be more tramatic for him then its worth at the moment. She feels that he has gotten over the Pneumonia (sp) and this time his problems are all sinus related and all the dripping is making him couch soo much So he is on another antibotic (sp) for the next 14 days and if he doesn't get better by then or gets worse in the next days then she said she will insist on X-rays. Have to be honest here guys I was TOTALLY HAPPY not to have to go thru the X-ray deal. I know they don't hurt BUT try and get Chris to believe that He has been out of school for the last 2 days but tomorrow I am sending him back with which he replies to me NOOOO SCHOOL THANK You. Got to love the Character he is always sooo polite bout things, LOLOL LAURIE, THANKS for the flashlight idea, I will most definately keep that in mind for the future CC ~

Christie~ I'm SO glad Chris didn't have to go through the whole XRay ordeal this time. I'll be praying that the antibiotics work QUICKLY and he gets well and doesn't need an Xray at all. Gotta love that sweet little polite guy!! Susan
