Ashlie has just started using it, But Gosh she has really picked up on it fast by using this method. Here is a site so you can see how it is used www.touchmath.com/Just Curious if anyone else's child uses this method?

Erin is not quite at that academic level yet.... BUT I do know that my older boys (grade 1 & 5)...everything is manipulative. Spelling words and math.... I remember at school Open Houses... they said that children who can hold & manipulate the letters will remember spelling so much more than simply writing the letters.....so I think it is a definite trend that curriculums are heading for. Thanks for sharing the site

Heidi: Emily used touch math in 1st thru 3rd grade. She became really good at it......added her own dots, etc. We were really pleased with it!!

I wish I knew about this stuff when Regan was younger. Although she motors right along, math as always been a bit tougher for her then other subjects. What I great concept!
