There is a downloadable book written basically for girls, but as it is downloaded, you can choose which pages to print....it is not just about physically growing up, but also responsibilities, etc: www.dsansw.org.au/publications/TalkToMe.htmlHope this helps.

Wow, a book about how to be an adult at the age of twenty one. I could have used a book to read like that when I was twenty one!
It all starts with learning how to be responsible for yourself and learning how to be safe as well. Making choices for yourself and living with the outcome as well. I don't know if there is a book like that but, maybe the Count Us In book by Jason Kingsley and Mitchel Levitts? could help. Mainly it is by learning and doing.
Debbie, An adult who has Down syndrome and still learning how to be an adult! ;D
