Hello everyone, I wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know that my son Daniel's av canal surgery went fantastic. We just arrived home for Boston Children's Hospital this afternoon. I am so relieved and overjoyed. I received so many notes of support from everyone here, I couldn't wait to share our good news. I have noticed some new families have joined. If I can be of any help to anyone who is awaiting surgery, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you again, I'm glad to be back!

Congratulations on a successful surgery. I remember well the feeling of relief when we finally get to come home from the hospital after Will's AV surgery in March. We're all celebrating with you.

Lisa,
That is great news. Glad to hear that things went well, and now your little one can recoup and grow srtong. That is a scary surgery. We went thru it when Kourtney was 3 and 1/2 months old. But, I tell ya she grew leaps and bounds afterwards.
Wishing your little one a speedy and uneventful recovery Michele

Michele, Thank you for your warm welcome. I'm certainly happy that the surgery went well. Looking for a house is a exciting and frustrating adventure. You mentioned that you’re from Florida, my wife and I love it there and often talk about moving. One of the things that is holding us back is that we understand that Florida's services for kids with special needs is lacking. Is this true or have we been given inaccurate info?
Cheers, Brian

Wow, that is awesome news! I'm sure you are plenty relieved to have THAT behind you. We are so fortunate to live in a day and age when these things can be repaired. God is good! Now you can just settle in and enjoy your little one.
