OMG, I can't sleep! I know, I know, it's preparation for when the baby comes, right? I'm averaging about 3-4 hours per night and it's driving me crazy! On the bright side, since I have been out of bed since 3:45 am, I have ran the dishwasher, on my 2nd load of laundry, mopped the bathroom, kitchen and foyer floors, dusted, wrapped my niece's birthday gift, got caught up on UnoMas, completed some work (you know, the work I get paid for!), got caught up on personal e-mail and went through bills. The only thing I can't do is vacuum at this time of morning. Oh, and not that 90% of this even needed to be done being that I cleaned all weekend. But, I guess if there's a floor, I must mop it! Oh and let's chat about all of the wonderful things that go with pregnancy. My poor boss has had to listen to it all. He called yesterday and asked, just in general, how I was doing. When I responded in a not-so-cheery tone he asked if everything was ok. I said, well, I'm 7 months pregnant, constipated and have leg cramps, if you want the truth. He soooo regretted probing into whether I was ok or not! LOL He loves me for my brutal honesty. So, does my whining bring back memories for all of you when you were pregnant? Don't get me wrong, I love feeling the baby move and am very excited about this, it's just . . . I NEED SOME SLEEP!!! Thanks for listening to me ramble. Jessie

I also loved being pregnant once I past 3 months of barfing. Than when I got to 8 months pregnant I also got the cramps in legs from some siatic never(sp), my back hurt, had to pee every 5 min, constipated, belly aches, and could not sleep.
Beleive me you will get peice one day it just may be a few years.
Good luck BTW I am very excited for you and the other pregnant Mom's here.
Make sure when your water breaks or you go into labor you let us know before your off. I did on my way out and had baby 2 hrs later. Good luck.

Well, at least you are productive when you can't sleep! LMAO...Sorry you aren't sleeping. I tend to be up alot and I am not pregnant or have a nursing child LOL. So... if ever I am on I will turn on my Yahoo and we can chat! k? I have another mom who doesn't sleep well and she lives on the West Coast... so when I am up at 3 or 4 she is still awake and we chat LOL. Hang in there girl... it will all be over soon! Well, the pregnancy that is.. the lack of sleep may still be there though... but it is VERY worth it! Yes... post when you go into labor.. and give someone your number to call so we can get statistics! I remember posting that I was in labor here at Unomas with Reece... I still remember. Sitting here posting until I decided to walk around the block to get the contractions going even better... then it was OFF to the hospital after that walk around the block! A.

Yea...you can come over and clean my house anytime Jessie I remember that my back hurt a lot when I was pregnant. Yep...very uncomfortable with the big stomach. I love the body pillows between my legs...so that was a great support and helps me sleep better. I hope that you will have a great labor soon!

Michele - that is EXACTLY what I do, toss and turn because one hip starts to hurt.
I have actually been awake since 2 am, but laid there until 3:45 willing myself to go back to sleep. However, when Brian stole ALL of the covers from me I figured that was a sign that I might as well get up.
Had a feeling there would be a few of you offering to let me come over and clean . . . LOL
I'm soooo exhausted right now. I had an 8:30 conference call that I had to lead. I had to go through four project plans with a group of people. Thank God I know these people well because I probably sounded like I just crawled out of bed! Tuesdays are my big conference call days so it's going to be a rough one. I need to squeeze a nap in here somewhere.
Thanks for listening to me whine.

Well now Jessie,
It's way too early to start your nesting now. You better slow it down. LOL Actually, I'm with the rest of the ladies, come and clean around here. It somehow stops (for 18 years I guess) once those little babies are born.
I remember your woes quite well. Try to enjoy your final days with Jason before the little girlie girl comes along.

Jessie,
I remember so well those sleepless nights (my son is almost 3 months). I found that if I could catch a quick nap during the day (I don't know if that is possible for you) I slept better at night. I have read that people can be so tired...you can't relax enough to get to sleep. Maybe that is what is happening to you.
Enjoy what is left of your pregnancy...it is such an amazing time. Have you picked a name yet?

Well, if misery truly loves company, you're in luck! Aaargh! The sciatic thing is driving me batty too. I am driving my family crazy with my nesting....hubby had to paint the garage FLOOR to keep me happy. My son was busy painting the garage walls yesterday. I have been painting and staining and steam cleaning anything that isn't nailed down, and many things that are!!! Today I am canning tomatoes, and my feet and back are killing me because I've been standing for hours in the kitchen! Why am I doing this, you ask? Who the h*ll knows! It's not as if I can't just drive up to the neighborhood grocery store and buy canned tomatoes, right? Whatever. 14 quarts of tomatoes later, and now it's time to start dinner. Have I completely lost my marbles? (Don't answer that! ) Hormones are h*ll.

Poor preggos! I remember not being able to sleep and the sciatic nerve pain that shot from the side of my lower back, through my butt and down my leg. Putting pressure on the side of my lower back was the only way to get any relief. The only sleep I got was in the lazy boy.
I am having a bout of insomnia because I am anxious about school. I know I will be sleeping again soon. You two won't be sleeping again for about a year. I felt horrible when I was pregnant but loved feeling that baby move. It was all worth it!

Jesse, I TOTALLY understand! I'm 8 months pregnant and I only wish I had the energy that you do. Every time I get up and move around too much I start having contractions . . . and the dr. said I MUST wait until after this weekend before he'll allow me to go into active labor. I'm not exactly on bed rest (I'm still working), but it seems close. At least you're able to get stuff done. Me . . . I'm watching the dust collect around the house. Kim, Logan (ds - almost 30 months), and Carson (edd 10/2/05)
