And boy did we have a good time!! 
This was our first walk (as some of you know) and we had such a good time. We met some really nice people. After we registered, the kids got to have tatoos put on and free popcorn, which ofcourse made their whole day! 
We took some pic's of all of us and even got to have our pic taken for the newsletter.
We wished there was more to do after the walk, because all they had after the walk was music. We hung out for a little while and then headed to the 99 restaurant (walking 3 1/2 miles made us hungry
. When we got to the restaurant, we noticed there were a few other people from the walk there too. So we got to enjoy more good company for awhile.
The walk was in Wakefield which is over an hour from us. We're looking into doing another walk a bit closer. Some of the people we talked with at the walk said there is another one in Oct that is only about 1/2 hour from us. We're going to go to that one also. Maybe we'll just go to every Buddy walk in the state... or cross country..... heck, we love to walk!! ;D OK, maybe not.
LOL! It would be nice to find families closer to our area though.
Well there you have it. If anyone has not done a walk yet, I would say go for it! It was so nice to meet other families whose concerns were the same as ours.
Ohhh... and did I mention how every muscle in my body is hurting today? Now what's that say about what shape I'm in??? Like we REALLY needed to go to the 99. LOL! ;D
