Hi All, Just joining in to discuss anything that may assist (new DS baby) in dealing with us, his (new parents) on how to meet his needs. Any guidance from parents that have successfully graduated from such advanced teachings from a DS angel in training is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the welcoming replies. My wife is Jennifer and our baby's name is Andrew. I decided to also have a blog cause I have seen her get lots of information from you all. Now, it's my turn to hit the pc and learn as well. She does not know that I have a log in name yet, but I'm sure she will today. Im sure she's already said how many kids we have. Thanks all.

Welcome to the neighborhood. It's good to see another dad on the block. My son Will was born last November, and so far he's our only one. This site provides lots of good information. I would like to recommend the search feature on the bulletin board. Sometimes when I've had a question about a specific topic I've used the search function and found a few past threads that told me what I needed to know.
Travismom - a big Texas HOWDY to you too. Welcome aboard.
It will be good to get to know you both. I'm still a relative newbie to Uno Mas (and Ds too I suppose), but I'll be glad to share my experiences with you.

Thanks ya'll, yes big families are great, but sometimes I wish there was a freeze frame remote for kids. We get that alot. People's eyes pop out of their socket when they hear "nine", yes, 9 kids. We are so used to it, but I suppose we are blessed because some couples can't have any and it's unfortunate that they don't know the meaning of having a child.

Congratulation on your new little angel. We are parents to 4, Ron 29, Francois 24, Savannah 9 and Adam 7 born with Down syndrome. Nice to see some dads in here. My husband reads the post and all the answers but for some reason never post anything. I guess I make up for it. Any questions you need answers we will try our best to help with. Tell us more about your little angel please. Claire
