Hurray! No celiac disease...good thing, cuz Eric is a bread junkie...But he is allergic to milk...whey products. His numbers came back the highest level for lactose intolerance. He drinks pediasure 2x daily, but now I'm trying to wean him to rice milk...its sweet too, so maybe it won't be such a bad transition. Everything else came back normal, for which we are thankful.

GREAT news Dolly!!!!! I hope the transition to lactose free products goes smoothly, and that Eric does really well afterward! Susan

Congrats to you and Eric. That is good news. I'm still hopeful that Charlie will be found Celiac free. Anyway, how about a pizza and orange soda party? Charlie would go for that. But then he'd want an ice cream sandwich. Sounds like Eric would need to choose a fruit icee instead. Cheers, Bob

Oh good!! I'll bet it will be much simpler to screen out whey products than gluten! Have you checked out any dairy-free cheeses yet? I've always wondered how they are.
Best wishes! Chris too

Lactose and whey will be easier. We use tofutti for cream cheese, sour cream, & ice cream. You can even cook with the cream cheese. Good luck! Kristin
