Laurie, I am so sorry. I know with my dad I kept telling myself he was in a better place after suffering like he did. I know, it's a small consolation when you would rather have them here with you. May God be with you and your whole family during this time.

I am soooo sorry..... Here's a poem my sister wrote not too long ago and itz 4 u. HUGS Steff
FREE If love alone could be enough to lead me to the way To comfort you, to find the words To take your pain away
Then all the love I have for you Would wipe away each tear Could soothe the ache and fill the void Go back to yester-year When life was new, so young and strong, invincible and sure, Not hazy, weak, infirm, subdued ,unsteady, insecure
We thought we’d live forever then, Before hard lessons learned, That life’s too short, the good die young, The rest are unconcerned-
Until life throws a sudden curve, and we are caught off-guard The hardest lesson of them all-death stinks, It’s really hard-to say farewell, goodbye, adieu To those we hold so dear- Our better-halves, our finest friends we want to keep right here.
But amid our grief, with broken hearts-‘The Ones They Left Behind’ Will pray for strength, lean on our Gods A silver lining find Within this ache and grief and pain and sorrow SO intense
That what we failed to recognize is only common sense- Our love was sick and hurting, and in such awful pain And whatever lies beyond this sky will make them free again.
To watch us struggle with our hurt, heal slowly day by day To come to know what we couldn’t see but our hearts show us the way To make our peace, to say goodbye, and mean it FINALLY And tell you with sincerity-I LOVE THAT YOU ARE FREE
