Ellie slept 7 1/2 hours last night!!! LOL ;D ;D It was my night to sleep downstairs with her, however, being the paranoid person that I am I didn't get much more sleep than normal. I got up at 3:15 and made her a bottle, figuring she would be up any time. Nope, she wasn't, so the bottle went to waste. I laid there until 6:30 tossing and turning, listening to make sure she was still breathing - I mean, geez, she has never slept that long! LOL Hopefully in the next couple of days the renovation will be done and we will be moving her into her nursery and us into our new bedroom by the weekend. We are kind of excited at the thought of actually getting to sleep in the same bed again. LMAO Jason will get to move into our old bedroom after I get it painted and decorated for him. We probably won't ever see him as he will now have room for his computer! There is light at the end of the tunnel for us to resume somewhat of a normal household. Jessie

WTG ELLIE!!!!! Our 1st (who, btw is officially 18 today!) did not sleep longer than 2 hrs at a time until he was 8 months old! So, I would have been very excited for a night like you just had! Too bad you didn't get to sleep too!

Jessie,
Those first nights of full sleep are always for the baby, never for the mommy as we all toss and turn and worry that something is WRONG! My oldest decided to sleep like that when he was about 5 months old. I accidentally bumped his head and that night he slept 8 hours instead of his typical every 2 hour stint. I wanted to bump his head every night so I could get some sleep. LOL
As far as sleeping in the same bed, well...you do know that's how you got Ellie, right? LOL

Oh you guys are too funny! Actually, when I called my MIL with the exciting news this morning, that's what I told her at first - that we were pregnant again! LOL
BTW - she didn't think that was very funny! Ha ha ha

Jessie,
I hate you! LOL! Aidan is still waking a lot at night, but that is probably because I'm still breastfeeding. Sigh. We are both so tired we can't see straight! Isn't it funny about the waking up even when they don't? Aidan was sleeping TOO quietly a couple of nights ago (he's generally a rather noisy sleeper) and I kept getting up and putting a finger under his nose to make sure he was breathing. Of course when he woke next I was totally exhausted, LOL!
Glad to hear that your renovation is almost done! You can breathe a sigh of relief over that one. We are in our new bedroom, got in there the first or second week in December, but haven't moved the kids around. We have two bedrooms to paint before we can do that. We'll get there, I guess. Congratulations on Miss Ellie's milestone!!!

You rock - it took Syd over a year to sleep that long. 11 months not to wake up every three hours, then wake up again screaming her head off when we put her down. DH jokes and says if she was the first, she would be an only. I *think* he is joking However, I do know that I would not have been pregnant six months later like I was after Carter! She was definately the answer to my prayers of please God, let me be like other moms and have a baby that keep her up at night (Carter slept a LOT and I felt sorta cheated). I should have been more specific that I was referring to Carter - she made up for it in spades LOL!
