Again guys trying to play catch-up with you all. This year, Ryan "got" the whole Santa idea. Josh is 13 and past the Santa stuff - so what fun it was to bring Santa back into Xmas. Ryan loved reading (or looking) at books that involved Santa, reindeer, snowmen, etc. FUN FUN FUN!!! We watched spongebob Xmas, Wiggles Xmas, the Grinch, and a Muppet xmas. We talked about what he wanted for Xmas - and so this too was kinda new to him. I asked him what he wanted Santa to bring him, and helped him with some ideas . We made a list and went to the mall to give it to Santa. When we got there (early) Ryan was all over the place and could care less about Santa. He was just in a crummy mood.... ah.... then Santa showed-up and OH MY GOODNESS, Ryan was thrilled. He kept pointing and YELLING "SANTA SANTA SANTA....." Here's the picture... He gave Santa the list, and we got the pics right away. He wanted to hold them on the way back to the car, and had to talk to dad on the cell phone about the whole thing right away (remember - we can hardly understand Ryan so that was interesting - he's joy made it so great though). Anyway - just wanted to share how much fun I had this year Ryan was a kick and made it "magical" again. Jodi

Oh man I sure know what you mean. This was the first year that Katie "got" Santa and she even asked him for things. It was purely "magical" .
Nice Picture he looks pretty happy!
Hugs,
Cathy

Hey, watch it! I'm a good deal older than 21 and I still believe in Santa. 'Course he hasn't brought me anything for years and years. But then I haven't been a very good boy for years and years. Maybe some year. -- Bob

OHHHH WONDERFUL JODI!!! CUTE PIC!!! Now I know what Ryan looks like! Russell is WAY far from being there... and Regan is too old too.. so it's all about Reece right now.. it's SO FUN to see her light up with Santa. She truly gets all into it and all emotional about it! I LOVE IT! It's a magical thing isn't it!? A.

Your little guy is so adorable and I am so glad he loves Santa! I know this is of the topic but....You know, we talk about Santa at school alot amoung the employees and the fact that so many of my students still believe in Santa. (I work for a school district in a program for disabled ages 17 to 26) I am of the minority because I believe it is okay for them to believe in Santa if they want to. It is okay that others disagree with me, but Chase is 13 now and the fact that he still believes in Santa and still gets so thrilled and excited warms my heart. I remember how important Santa was to me. Chase believing for alot more years is okay wiht me, it just keeps the magic or Christmas alive and when he wakes up on Christmas morning and the sight of presents from Santa under the tree takes his breath away, my heart melts. hugs, Robin

So... Christmas is over, right? Not in my house!!!
We are STILL reading Chistmas stories, watching Christmas videos, and now looking at Christmas pictures. Last night Ryan wanted the Grinch for story time, and then asked if he could watch the Grinch movie while eating breakfast!! It still makes me smile!!
