Funny story to share..my dear hubby comes up from the basement on Sunday and informs me that the fridge in the basement was off. Usually would not be a big deal but inside that fridge were 8 dozen fresh eggs gathered from our own chicken coop.Normally this time of year we have to buy store bought eggs (yuckkkkk) cause our hens don't lay as well in the cold weather. But because of the warm days we have hit the mother load. Well the first person we blame is our oldest who stayed the night last week, slept in the basement and doesn't like the fridge making noise. We jump all over her, the whole time she swears it wasn't her. Mind you Sarah is chimimg right in scolding sis... I then take Sarah in the other room and say" did you turn off the fridge"? to which she replies" I am going to be totally honest, yes I did and thanks for me being honest" I cracked up cause yes Sarah you are totally honest....... after the fact. Better late then never right?

Speaking of blaming someone else. Elena isn't quite potty trained, and one day at school she wet her pants. The teacher was trying to lecture her about it and in the process asked her how her pants got wet. Elena told her "Dakota (another little girl) did it". My husband was proud of her nerve to try it. We still laugh about it.
