Oh cool!!! I haven't seen any episodes of the show since Laura was born ... quite a few years actually. I am definitely going to get a copy!

I was going to post something about this, but Cbean beat me to it. So, I'll just violate netiquette, good taste, and good manners, and share some private email:
THANK YOU, GAIL!! Sincerely, Bob

Lynn and I would be among >the hoard of parents of kids with Down syndrome who would love to see >Life Goes On offered on DVD and would jump at the chance to purchase a >DVD of the first season. >I was a big fan, devoted viewer of that show when it first aired, long >before I ever thought about having a little boy with an extra 21st >chromosome. And I'm still a big fan of Chris Burke, whom we've seen >several times, and Kelly Martin and Patti LaPone. I'd even love to see >that dog again, rattling its water dish at the end of Beatle's music. >I think one indication of the pent up demand for this show is the >coincidence of posters to the Down-syn list asking about how and where >they could buy a DVD just when you're exerting yourself to try to >persuade Warner Brothers to release one. I think Life Goes On has a lot >of old fans and would make a lot of new ones. Believe the show might >have been a bit ahead of its time, certainly broke some new ground for >television. I'm a little surprised that it's not still in syndication >somewhere. >I'm sure that Chris Burke, the National Down Syndrome Society, and Down >syndrome groups all across the country would get the word out to lots >of eager consumers if the first season of Life Goes On were to be made >available. >I would really like to see those shows again. First season would be >great. Would hope it would do so well they'd release more; I think I >remember it was at the end of the second season when the mother, Patti >LaPone, was expecting another baby. Would be great to watch those >episodes again, believe I might have a little different perspective and >feel for the show now. >And, of course, it would be great for Charlie and all the other kids >with Down syndrome to be able to see Chris Burke as the star he was and >is. >Best wishes and good luck in pursuing this. If you can help get this >done, Lynn and I and lots of other parents will owe you another big >thank you. >Sincerely, >Bob Black >dad to Charlie

If anyone gets it and finds the one that talks about couples getting married...a two parter I think...please let me know. I imagine, though, it was AFTER the first season.
