AJ is almost 5 and still takes naps. We are thinking about buying a babby jogger for special needs kids. It is about $700. I was wondering if anyone has one and if it worth the money? AJ sometimes gets tired when we are at theme parks, malls ect.. i have a bannana stroller that goes to 60 lbs and AJ is olny 42 lbs but the problem is his feet almost drag on the ground. He looks way to big for it. I went to Babies R Us and they didn't have any thing bigger. Got any ideas for us? thanks!

We just bought a new stroller for Adam last summer. Adam is 8 and over 50 pds. The stroller we got is good for up to 120 pds. It was over $1000. but we got some help from the Easter Seal Society to help pay for part of it. Adam does walk but is very hypotonic, so he doesn't walk far before getting exausted. It is also handy when we go to the city to see his doctors. A lot less running around after him in the clicnics and hospitals.

We purchased a stroller a couple of years ago for Courtney. I think it is called a special needs 5 stroller. It holds up to 150 pounds. Courtney weighs 114 and she still fits in it nicely. It is great as Courtney is unable to walk any long distances. The stroller cost $800. Our medical insurance paid all of it but $100. There is a web site for this stroller and I cannot remember what it is. It maybe specialneeds5.com, not sure but I can find out for you. I think it may be written on the stroller, which is out in the van and way to cold for me to go out and look tonite, LOL, but I will look tomorrow and let you know. I hope this helps.
