Hi Everyone.
I will finally start learning how to give myself the shots for the Osteoporosis this coming Wednesday. I had to wait until the this guy could show me how to do the things before I give myself the shot and what to do with the needle when I finish it. The only thing I really have to pay will be for the needles. My Medicare D will pay for the medicine. There is more than I thought I will have to do but I know I can do it with some help. Thanks for your support. You can't know how much that means to me!

HUGS to you Debbie and I bet that each shot will get easier and easier in time. Whats important is that the meds/vitamins or what ever it is you have to take, do what they are supposed to do Blessings to you girl CC ~

Good luck Debbie! You are much braver than I am . . . after being on my shots for several years I still can't give them to myself, my husband has to do it!
Let us know how it goes for you on Wednesday.

Hi, Debbie, My sister has been giving those shots to my mom for several weeks now. The shots are important and my mom says they don't hurt that much. You'll do fine. Regards, Bob

Good luck!!!!
I don't know if this is with shots in general or if it was due to the insulin.. but my friend back in high school said she had to rotate where she gave herself shots..and couldn't do them always in the same place...(like only one leg always)... because it broke down the fat or something in her leg??? Would you have to rotate shot sites also? Just a thought... I remember that to this day...

Best of luck Debi....and yes...shots MUST be rotated...though I am sure you will get a full education on all that.....and be able to teach everyone here !! It's not an easy thing to do, but remind yourself that this is for health and nothing is more important than that. We are all proud of you ! Allisa
