Jason is such a goober, that's the only word that describes him - in a loving kind of goober way! LOL
Sunday afternoon Brian was in Jason's room helping him clean . . . well Brian was doing the cleaning and Jason was doing the usual avoidance trick. This time, however, he made it VERY hard for his dad to make him stop what he was doing and help him - he was sitting at his desk practicing writing his name. WHATEVER!!! He NEVER does this!!!! He is the king of avoidance. Then, Brian runs downstairs and on his way back up he hears Jason shutting his door, giggly very mischievously and Brian realizes that Jason had placed his basket of dirty clothes on the landing . . . apparently for the maid to take downstairs! Seeeeeeeeeeeee, he knows EXACTLY what is going on!!! LOL
He also surprised us by going into our "craft/storage/sewing/catch-all" room to get a screwdriver so he could fix a toy . . . he's a problem solver that's for sure! He got it and tried his best to fix it on his own.
BTW, we missed Ellie rolling over for the first time. We suck. We laid her on her belly, left the room for 30 seconds, came back and she was flipped over - and she won't do it again! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ummm, Jessie, we suck too. Aidan did the same thing. I was changing Ethan's diaper, and Victoria came running in the room all excited and asked me if I had turned Aidan over. When I said I hadn't she was all excited because he'd done it on his own. (She missed it too) I thought that kid was never going to roll over, he's such a chunk, LOL!

LOLOLOL girl YUP I would say for sure Jason knows exactly what he is doing I can relate to the missing a first girl, I remember with Kodi, I went back to work after 6 weeks and my Mom watched her. Months later, I remember my Mom calling me at work saying OMG Kodi took her first step and I was like NOOOOO hang up and pretend we never had this talk LOL I wanted to be the first to see my first baby take her first step. So I ran over there right after work and I saw and said WOW to everyone OMG look her first step and Bless my Mom LOLOL she said OK but really its not her first OMG LOL that was Mom you had to know her So with all that rambling YES I can relate BUT Ellie will be rolling all the time now and you will get your first, even thou it may be her second, LOLOL CC ~

Laura - see I figured because Ellie is also a chunk that she would just naturally roll all over the place!! LOL When she is on her back she is completely twisted around and almost over, but she can't quite get that big ol' chunky leg swung over her body yet! It's too cute to watch!

Ah, the teenage manipulation and trickery has kicked in! Have fun! ;D
He is pretty smart. If I could get by with sticking my basket of clothes out for someone to pick up, I'd do it, too!

heehee... too funny about Jason! He IS smart!!!! You guys are nicer then I would have been (she says with a sinister laugh)... practicing name or not.. I would have had him helping me. Sounds like something Regan would pull on me... LOL But she hasn't quite done the basket in the hall trick...she'd probably find it back in her room some how WTG ELLIE!!!! That rolling for the first time happens SO quick doesn't it? You'll see it again.. and again.. and again... and it's FUN to watch them ROLL to everything before the learn to crawl. I'd say Reece was my longest and bestest roller LMAO! And SHE was a CHUNCKOLA too! heehee... by the time she was 4 or 5 months old.. she had rolling down pat but ALSO already had a fav blanket.. yep, pink of course, and she would roll to get somewhere... realised she didn't have that blanket.. roll back to get it.. and then roll WITH The blanket back where she needed to be. I was quite impressed by her rolling with blanket abilities LMAO! Have a good weekend!!!! A.
