Hi,
I was hoping that I could ask you to send a few rays of sunshine to my daugher Ava - Ava broke her neck and will be having surgery tomorrow morning (May 1st). She will be in the ICU unit at Children's Hospital in Boston for three days and then staying at Children's for up three weeks. Ava will have the HALO device on for a minimum of 12 weeks. I am a nervous wreck as they told me there is a 30-40% chance she may not make through the surgery. So, that is why I am asking for some good thoughts for my long brown haired, brown eyed, beautiful and amazing little girl.
Thank you, Shannon Mom to Ava Elizabeth 7

OH my god Shan...I am so so sorry to hear that poor Ava has to go through this....you must be beside yourself with worry and stress.... When I saw Ava's name in the Subject line and your name as the poster, I was so happy to see you both and couldn't wait to hear what Ava was up to lately....what a shock to read your news Of course my thoughts and prayers will be with you and that beautiful little girl of yours. Allisa PS.....may not be the best time to pop in ...but I will be at Children's with Erin on the 8th....maybe we will look you guys up and be the first to hear the wonderful news of how she is recovering.
