Yup...you wonderful people here in Unoland have done it again! I wish I could pull up the post I am going to tell you all about so I can thank all you genius' myself. There are a few of you who gave me this great idea and for that I say...THANK YOU!!!!! ;D
There was a post a little while back, and I can't remember what the thread was about, but some of you said you were using the sheet straps so your little ones couldn't pull the sheets off their beds. Well....Andrew has some sensory issues and has been waking EVERY night for what seems like FOREVER. I realized that he is pulling the bottom sheet in his crib off. He has been pulling it off because he can not stand to have any wrinkles in his sheets. He needs to have them perfect, with not even a little bump, wrinkle, nothing. It needs to be totally flat. I went and bought the sheet straps, and low and behold......He has slept straight through the night for 3 nights now!!! WOO HOO!!! I am so happy that I am finally getting good sleep at night. I'm sure Dunkin Donuts isn't at all happy I don't need to stop there every afternoon anymore but hey... who needs caffine when I'm getting SLEEP...LOL! Now if only I could find a way to bottle sleep and sell it at a drive-thru...I'd be all set!
So thank you all so much!! You have no idea how much you all have helped me!!! ;D

Glad you ar geting your well deserved sleep. It is also good for Andrew bacause he is getting a better rest at night his schedule will be better and he wil be more alert during the day. I say this because Adam had real bad sleep apnea, and once the problem was corrected it was like he blossomed from the rest, he was so much more alert and willing to cooperate. Sleep in a bottle still sounds good to me even though my kids sleep all night. I can't seem to get enough these days. I guess stress has something to do with it too. Or maybe it's my old age setting in without me knowing.

I use sheet straps on Sarah's bed to keep her from pulling her sheets off several times a day. It works like a charm although it hasn't solved her sleep issues.

Connie...I LOVE Tylenol pm!!! LOL!
Well...I spoke too soon. Yup.....Andrew was up AGAIN last night. I don't understand why he keeps getting up at night. I thought for sure it was the sheet thing and hoped by posting it here that it could help someone else but....sigh...sorry guys. I guess it was just a fluke thing. Sometimes he sleeps right through the night fine and other times...uggg. He gets up several times. Sleeping through the night seeems to be getting less and less. Oh well...Dunkin Donuts, here I come!

Trisha... Russell is the same way!!! And he is 8!! From the time he was 4 1/2 on.. he never slept well. And for him.. who knows.. it's probably all sorts of things!!! I think part of it is sensory related.. but without him telling me.. I have just accepted this and I have tried alot.. and it's just the way it is. I feel for you!!! A.
