JT spent most of the summer running around naked or towards the end of the summer just with big boy pants on (just when we were at home BUT it was a success. I wouldn't say he is 100% potty trained (day time), but darn close. Yesterday was our big test, big boy pants on our all day errand run. Dry, Dry, Dry and Clean! We haven't started working on overnights yet, that opens up a whole new can of worms......taking the baby gate off of his door at night. He'll start preschool in a couple of weeks, hope his day time success transitions over. We haven't used a diaper for a good couple of months, he does the best in big boy underpants. He gets lazy even with pullups on. My potty question is this; JT has awful aim. He is into the routine of sitting on the toliet. I'm starting to think he may be much more on "target" if he stands. He relaxed more when he sat when we first started and getting him to change his routine will be tricky. I just wondered if anyone has little boy toliet bowl aim ideas? Dawn

I have a big boy and the aim is still terrible especially when he is half asleep at night. Looking back, I would have trained him to always sit on toilets and stand only when there is a urinal available.
His aim may improve soon. He now must clean his bathroom before anyone comes over to play or be a paid companion ( babysitter). He has the routine down - spray cleaner, paper towels, trashbag. I am hoping this will spur him on to be more careful.

Thanks mb. I've got a stash of the disinfecting wipes. That's my secret weapon so far.
JT did hold me to not be 100% trained yet right after I typed the originial post. He was watching Little Einsteins, so I thought I'd quickly vacuum the upstairs. I was working my way down the steps when JT came up with his hands on his head saying "oh oh oh ooooohhh", YEP that means trouble. He had poopy painted while I was vacuuming and now decided he HATED it on his hands. Poor little thing.....NOT!
