Those of us in the U.S. are so lucky to have the privilege to vote, so be sure to exercise your constitutional right to choose your leaders.
Don't think that your vote doesn't count because it does...you have a voice and the power to help determine the future direction of your state and country!

Silly me..........I went to vote at 8am (my polling place is at Emily's school), being very proud of myself for doing it early! However, it didn't open till 9am! So, I just went back at 5pm and there was a long line. Took about 45 minutes to wait in line....but still better than the last election.

I walked in and voted and walked right back out! Thanks for the reminder..although if you have watched tv in the past week alone I don't see how you could miss it!

Two years ago on voting day we had 11 inches of snow in the Texas Panhandle...today it was clear and 80!!!! But we voted early....last week...not taking any chances after the last election. I had only recently reported our address change so my registration update was not recorded and I had to use a paper ballot and not the new touch screen Jackie mom to Emily 26 who also early voted
