WOW... Man... I don't know why but this totally hit me what a wonderful experience this was for Lauren and for you and your DH. I am just sitting here in AWE of it all with tears just streaming down my face. I know, I am a kook.... but I just think this is the end all to be all.. to MEET the president of the USA... ANY president I think would be an honor.... and I am pleased to know you and your husband...who serves our country and put his life on the line to keep us all safe.
Those pics are priceless....and yes, I think you should get a story in the local paper!
Was there any other kids w/spec needs there?
Thanks for sharing that... and making me cry with my coffee! LOL

There was one little boy in a wheelchair. He was sitting right next to Mrs. Bush. His dad was in Iraq. Most of the children there had someone deployed. The President said some really nice words to them about thier parents. It was a great day. Thank you all for the kind words.
Staci I pray for our troops everyday. I pray your brother will be ok and I appreciate all the men and women there. My husband can never go back although I know he would if he was whole again. He misses his Marines. He is working in an office now.

Renee',
It's Andrea from Houston, I have been trying to find your e-mail and actually sent you one but I'm not sure it reached you. Wow, what an exciting day for all of you. Tina sent me an e-mail through my friend Helen with the picture and then I figured you would post it to Unomas and here it is. Lauren looks so cute and what a chance of a lifetime, Andrew would have loved it. He would be entertaining everyone just like Lauren. Andrew is doing great, he just started back with Gymnastics after a year or two off due to behavior issues and he is being so good. He also goes to hip-hop class at the YMCA once a week as has the dance routine memorized. He loves to dance. LOL I don't think I have the correct e-mail and I want to hear how everyone is doing. Please write me so we can catch up and so I can send you a Christmas card. Bryan has been after me to contact you and Chris. Tell Chris, Lauren and Faith hello from all of us.
Take care, Andrea

WOW!!! That is sooo cool!!! You have a beautiful family and well deserve a White House Christmas party with the president. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made so that your husband could volunteer to serve our country. Has your husband fully recovered?

That is sooooooooo awesome!!!!! I tried to meet George W at a Bush rally, but sadly we couldn't meet him. You can tell how personable he and his wife are. I really respect both of them so much!!
